Primeramente, alaniux es orgullosamente Mexicana. 

Alaniux is an interdisciplinary artist who is proudly from the Ciudad Juarez/El Paso border. 

Through her work, alaniux grapples with the occult, the vulnerable, and the infinite. Through painting and poetry, her work draws from her culture’s mythology. Her life on the border and her origins in graffiti influence her gestrual style and explosive use of color.

Alaniux’s work has been featured at the Smithsonian of the American Latino in Washington DC. Alaniux holds three degrees in Fine Art, International Relations, and Economics.
