El Caos De Crecer

A visual expression of the most monumental loss of my life. While working on this piece I found myself reflecting on the trauma and grief that takes residence in your body as you experience the most challenging parts of the human experience. While creating El Caos de Crecer I contemplated how easy it is to shut down difficult feelings believing it a protection mechanism. When in reality our repressed emotions become another burden to carry, making your existence heavier each time. A visual reflection of my inner self processing immense grief. This work is a plea to feel, for if we shy away from the scariness of life it can become a part of us. What I hope viewers take away is that although messy, uncomfortable, and chaotic the process of growth is incredibly beautiful.
